Understanding Parliament Bills

A Parliament Bill is a proposed law presented before a legislative body for discussion and approval. In India, a bill can be introduced in either House of Parliament, except certain financial bills that originate in the Lok Sabha. The bill undergoes several stages, including introduction, debate, committee review, voting, and presidential assent. Once approved by both Houses and signed by the President, it becomes an Act of Parliament. Bills are essential tools for creating, amending, or repealing laws and addressing national issues and public concerns.
